Why We Need You: Install and maintain the performance and stability of database servers. Develop processes for optimizing database performance and security. Set and maintain database standards across the board. Manage database access. Performance tuning of database systems. Install, upgrade, and manage database applications. Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors. Recommend and implement emerging database technologies. Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards. Create automation for repeating database tasks. Set and maintain database replication for Disaster Recovery environment. Work closely with Development team & Application Support to structure & maintain database schema and indexes. Be available for on-call support as needed. Good to have: Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. 4-6 years as Database Administrator. Good experienced in SQL command and SQL server tools. Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, data replication, and performance monitoring standards. Good knowledge of application server administration. (For example: Tomcat Apache Application Server, Oracle Weblogic and etc). Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling. PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills. Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS. Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments. Extensive experience with database technologies (For example: MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL Oracle, MongoDB).
